Grand Center Receives $100,000 Grant from Southwest Airlines' Heart of the Community program

Southwest Airlines announced St. Louis as one of six cities selected to receive a $100,000 grant as part of Southwest Airlines'  2015 Heart of the Community program. Grand Center, Inc. will work with Southwest and Project for Public Spaces (PPS) to reimagine and activate Strauss Park, located at the corner of Grand Blvd. and Washington Ave, as part of the larger Art & Music Promenade (AMP) Connector project. The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra has announced the 2015-16  Family Concerts schedule filled fun and music that children and adults will both enjoy. Pulitzer Arts Reopening
Opera Tastings

The Pulitzer reopens on Friday, May 1 following a major renovation that has transformed the lower level of its Tadao Ando-designed building and nearly doubled its public space.  The renovation will also allow the Pulitzer to present concurrent exhibitions for the first time.  The institution will reopen with solo exhibitions of Alexander Calder, Richard Tuttle, and Fred Sandback. Feyza Eren Quartet

The Rime of Ancient Mariner A native of St. Louis, Feyza Eren spent 15 years singing overseas in Istanbul. She  has performed at the most popular concert halls and jazz clubs in Istanbul and was invited to play at the most prestigious jazz festivals throughout Turkey. After her return to St. Louis in the 2011, Feyza has been singing at a number of venues with St. Louis’ best musicians. She has recorded 3 new records and is currently working on the 4th. She also does voice-overs including animation characters. Feyza performs at the Kranzberg May 2 at 8 p.m. Click here for tickets!
