Grand Center, Inc. Launches New Website!

art life day night
Our mission at Grand Center, Inc. is to develop Grand Center into a nationally recognized arts and entertainment district that will add to the regional economy of St. Louis as a tourist destination and, simultaneously, improve the quality of life for St. Louisans. To help you navigate all that Grand Center has to offer, we cordially invite you to explore our improved website! The new calendar has more search options for visitors and fans to find new events and keep up with favorite venues. UMSL Presents “9 Parts of Desire” at The Kranzberg

9 parts desire

The UMSL Department of Theatre presents 9 Parts of Desire from November 12 thru November 21 in the Kranzberg Arts Center. The play is a portrait of the extraordinary (and ordinary) lives of Iraqi women, and delves into the many conflicting aspects of what it means to be a woman in the age-old war zone that is Iraq. The work is an unusually timely meditation on the ancient, the modern and the feminine in a country overshadowed by war. $10 students, $15 GA; Click for showtimes and tickets.

Gladys Knight and The O-Jays at The Fox

gladys knight ojays

The great ones endure, and Gladys Knight has long been one of the greatest. Very few singers over the last fifty years have matched her unassailable artistry. This seven-time Grammy winner has enjoyed #1 hits in multiple music genres and has triumphed in film, television and live performance. The O-Jays still have the same electrifying energy they’ve had for over 50 years, connecting audiences to an era and a sound that formed the soundtrack for the lives of several generations. Catch this fabulous concert on Friday, November 13 at 8:00 PM at The Fabulous Fox, presented in partnership with WFUN-Old School 95.5. More info
